Yesterday, at EPFL, Blockchain Society gave a workshop about crypto-assets storage.
We covered the basics of crypto-wallets, the notions of private and public keys, block explorers, transactions etc…Some attendees had a paper wallet from a previous BCS Airdrop. Students installed their first wallet and sent cryptos from the airdrop on it. Finally, students learned how to use decentralized applications. We introduce tools like Metamask and detailed the interaction between the application, the web page and the user’s wallet.
We always like to exchange with student and to provide answers to their questions. Safety and protection of crypto-assets is a key issue and we really enjoyed addressing it. Hope to see you to our future workshops !
